Going Live with Network Solutions
There are only a few steps that you need to do to make your website live. Once you've added all of your content, you're ready for the world to see your website. Below are your instructions to making your website live with Network Solutions.

Finding Your IP Address

First you'll want to find your site's IP Address. It's located in your Greenhouse Dashboard under Site Settings then Search Engine Settings. Copy this number and save it for the next steps.

Changing Your A Record

Step 1 -  At NetworkSolutions.com, click the Manage Account button and then enter your username and password


Step 2 - Under My Domain Names, click Edit DNS

Step 3 - You will be directed to a page where you manage your domains. In the middle of the page, next to Advanced DNS Settings, click Edit Advanced DNS Records

If it says "Designated DNS" next to "Domain Currently Points To:", then you will need to change your name server addresses. You can do this right from this page. HOWEVER, this will also change all the other settings for your domain, which means that your email (MX) records will need to be set up again. You may want to stop and read our help article below         

Step 4 - Click Edit A Records

Step 5 - Check the  3 Delete boxes next to the www, @ (None), and * (All Others). You will then add 3 new records for www, @, and *. For all three fields, enter your site's IP address (the one that you wrote down from the beginning of this help article) under Numeric IP. Click Continue at the bottom

Do not put the IP address listed below, this is just an example.

           
Step 6 - You will then confirm your changes by clicking Save Changes at the bottom


You're done! Allow Network Solutions’ servers 24 hours to update the new changes, and your site will be live.


Changing Your Nameservers

Step 1 - Once you have clicked on My Domain Names, click Edit Advanced DNS Records

Step 2 - Click Move Name Servers to Network Solutions. This box will warn you about your service being interrupted. This is simply a review of what we said in the beginning of this help article. Once you click "OK", your records will appear within a few minutes

   

Step 3 - Once you've moved the Nameservers to Network Solutions, you'll be able to edit the A Record using the steps earlier in this article
