Going Live with GoDaddy
Now that you've got all your content ready and your website address purchased, it's time to launch your new site. You are now ready for the world to see your website! We've listed the steps below for taking your website live with GoDaddy.

Finding Your IP Address

First, you will want to find your site's IP address. It's located in your Greenhouse Dashboard under Site Settings then Search Engine Settings. It is listed on the right side. Copy this number and save it for the next steps.

Changing Your A Record

Step 1 -  Go to godaddy.com, click Sign In | Register in the top right corner and enter your Username and Password

Step 2 - Click the green Manage button to the right of Domains

Step 3 - You'll see your domains listed in blue text. Click on the domain you wish to point to your Clover Site

(If you don't see your domain names listed with blue text, you may need to click the 3 lines in the top right corner to complete this step.)

Step 4 - Click on the DNS Zone File tab in the middle of the page

If it says "Not Hosted Here", follow the steps under Changing Your Nameservers below.

Step 5 - Click the paper and pencil located to the right of the @

Step 6 - Paste your Clover IP Address in the Points To field, then click Finish
The IP Address is the one you copied at the beginning of this article.

Step 7 - Click Save Changes in the red bar near the top

You're done! Allow GoDaddy’s servers 24 hours to update the new changes, and your site will be live. Go celebrate!

Changing Your Nameservers

If it says "Not Hosted Here" next to "Total DNS", then you'll need to change your Nameservers back to their defaults. However, this will also change all the other settings for your domain, which means that your email (MX records) could go down.

Step 1 - On the domain details page in the lower left, find the box titled Nameservers and click Manage

Step 2 - Choose Standard: GoDaddy, hosting, forwarding, and parked domains. You can then click Save

Step 3 - Your DNS records will show up within 3-4 minutes. After this time, you should refresh the page and you will see your DNS records show up under DNS Zone File. To complete the process of launching your site, continue with the help article on Changing your A record with GoDaddy.
