Calendar Page
The calendar is designed to have a clean and simplified look, while still providing a wealth of information for your users. You can have all the information needed for any event listed on your calendar. You can also set up repeating events so that your users can see when every event is happening.

For detailed instructions on adding a page follow our Adding and Removing a Page article.

Editing Your Calendar

To begin editing your calendar click the Edit Calendar button.

To add events to your calendar, click on the date of your event. Your event information will show up on the right of the calendar. You can always add or edit the name of your event, the location (and link to map), the contact person (and their contact information) as well as the description of the event. Click the Add Event button when you're finished.

Your event can be scheduled for multiple hours or even days. You can also note an All Day event by checking the box below the start date. If your event happens consistently, you may want to make it a repeating event. Click on Make This Event Repeat and choose how often you’d like it to repeat.

To delete an event click on the event in your calendar and then the Delete button. To update an event click on the event in your calendar, change any information then click the Update button. When you are ready, click the Finished button to save your changes.

Click the View Calendar button at the bottom of your screen to see your calendar exactly as your viewers will.

Calendar Settings

While editing your calendar click the Calendar Settings button for more customization options.

Here you can change the Color Theme and Accent Color, and change the wording of the Launch Button. Click the Finished button to save your changes.

Keep In Mind:

  • A page created as a Calendar page will always have the Launch Calendar button on it (although you can change the wording of the button from your Calendar Settings). A page always remains as the type of page it was created as.
  • If you’d like to use a third party calendar, you’ll want to create a Text page instead of a Calendar page.
  • You won’t see the Launch Calendar button from your Greenhouse, but it'll show up on your live site once you click Publish.
  • The Launch Calendar button will automatically show up below any text on your page. To move the location of the launch button type the word button with parentheses, i.e. (button) anywhere within the text box and the button will move to that location.
